I got a steady server gig at Bottom Lounge. For folks outside of Chicago, Bottom Lounge is a badass bar and concert venue. I will have a solid two nights a week, at least one of them being a weekend. I will also have the option to pick up other shifts.

Get this:
I told my soon to be bosslady that I might (though it is a longshot) get accepted to a month long writing workshop in the summer...and she said, "Oh. That's ok. We can work with that."

I know.

Now, if for some awesome, universe-smiling-at-me reason, I do get accepted to Clarion West, I will have a headstart on my fundraising.
